Text Box: The Troutman Family Historical Association sponsors an Annual Family Reunion.  Reunions are held the second Saturday of August, at the original one-room Troutman schoolhouse, located beside the Troutman Family Cemetery on Troutman Farm Road (map below). The Friday evening before the Reunion features a reception at the Historical Association’s family grounds, a smaller, informal gathering of near-by relatives greeting those from afar. The reunion starts with a memorial service to honor those gone before us.  A celebration of family follows, with recognition of oldest and youngest, travelers from out-of-state, and musical traditions. Family members then enjoy a potluck luncheon on the T-shaped tables so bring along your tastiest dishes to share.
